I should have posted this at 6pm today. But I’ve received calls about ‘not too bad’ locations to check out the Singapore GP, I had to do so; Since my office is less than 5mins way from the track.. At 7pm, the last practice starts, and I can see and hear the cars roar down Raffles Boulevard, like just metres away from the track. Somehow I sort of regretted that I didn’t get the tickets, but the next time when it comes in Singapore, I’ll be there!!
Ok ok enough about GP and F1.
Back to the title: Chee Lip and Charlene! Being a very intimate event of less than 20 pax held in My Secret Garden on 13th September 2008, it’s really a joy photographing both their families and themselves. And Charlene’s parents was so hospitable that they address me by my first name, which is in fact quite rare!
I’m very thankful that I was treated like one of the family members, being invited to join them for dinner.. Good food, great company, wonderful selection music by Charlene - What more can I ask for?
Phew! It’s good to take a breather from all the weddings in the past 1 week. We have been shooting almost back-to-back.. 6 weddings in 7 days. Imagine. But it’s all worth it when we upload the photographs into the computer and ‘wow this is nice.. wow that can send for competition..’ ;p
Just managed to clear some backlogs and hereby I’d like to present Mun Shiun and Huiwen’s wedding held on 6th Sept 08. Wonderful couple who got to know each other when they were teaching. And it’s really heartwarming that they treat me like one of their family, and was invited to a cosy dinner together with their families and relatives. Did I mention the suckling pig was good? hehehe now I’m hungry…
I photographed the wedding of Marvin and Celia in October 2007, and I’m honored to shoot the wedding of his younger sister Joey on 7th September 2008. It’s great to hang out with the same crowd of family, some of them still recognize me (which proves that I didn’t aged much! hahahhaha). For those who goes to Orchid Bowl at Orchid Country Club, Jensen will look familiar to you
This is the first time I went to shoot a wedding at Mandarin Oriental Hotel after their renovation. I must say it looks good! Especially the wallpaper of the ballroom!
Blogging has been a really slow process for me because we are overwhelmed by the number of shoots we had ever since the starting of September.. This peak season will last probably until mid-2009. So pardon us for the slow updates, we will definitely try our best to blog as soon as humanly possible
Jason and Biying’s wedding took place around a week ago, and it’s always delightful to photograph the gate crashing with great lighting! Guys if you’re reading this, we have already edited the photographs, and Elaine is doing the album layout as I’m typing now
She just commented over the table “The flow of photographs in the album is gonna be beautiful!” hehehe
