I especially love the panorama photograph of the color array of peranakan shoes, sepia-colored portrait of the couple, and the black and white first dance photograph.

Tips To Help Prevent Pre Wedding Photography Mishaps

1. Schedule a consultation with the photographer. Prior to the actual date of the pre wedding photo shoot, the couple should schedule a consultation with the photographer. This way, expectations will be set. Here, clients can voice out their preferences. View full post »

Red Lanterns

Just did Yuih Sin and Kam’s Solemnization this morning! They love the red lanterns in Peony Jade (Keppel Club) and as a photographer, I reckon there’s no better way to photograph them other than including the curtain in the frame with the lanterns.:)

Max + Nani | Wedding Day

I did Max and Nani’s solemnization in 2009, and I remembered I was trilled to know when I was engaged by them to document their wedding day this year!

The first day started with Nani’s family banquet held at Shangri-La Hotel. Their awesome planner The Wedding Entourage meticulously transformed the entire stage to a stunning white-house backdrop with a circular staircase for Nani’s 2nd march-in.

And the second day was of course not without gatecrashing before Max could fetch Nani. Towards the evening, they held another banquet (Yes 2 banquets altogether!) for Max’s family at Pan Pacific Hotel. It was set as a Peranakan theme (as Max’s family is Peranakan), and I totally dig weddings like these because of the array of colors in their beautiful costume.

Enjoy the photographs!

Patrick + Carol | Solemnization

I love small crowd, heartwarming weddings!

Beautifully set at Amara Sanctuary in Sentosa, with approximately 40 guests, Patrick and Carol’s solemnization is certainly one which I totally enjoyed! The day started with a small reception, followed by the solemnization event. Whilst not diverting my attention from the couple, I had plenty of photo opportunities with children – my favourite subject!

Enjoy the photographs:)
